Whether you're exploring your options or ready to make your move, this FAQ guide makes it easy to find the information you need to feel confident about calling our community home. 

Leasing & Application Process

Application approvals are typically completed within 1 to 3 business days.


Furnished apartment homes are not currently available. 

At this time, short-term lease options are not offered. 

We do not currently offer corporate lease agreements.

 We are currently offering up to 8 weeks of free base rent plus a $1,000 move-in credit on select units. Contact the leasing team for full details and lease terms. 

Min terms required. Other costs & fees excluded! 

Apartment Features & Policies

Residents are welcome to decorate their apartment homes as long as the unit is returned to its original condition at move-out. 

Each apartment home includes a refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, washer, and dryer. 

Subletting is not permitted. 

Yes, all apartment homes include a washer and dryer. 

Community Amenities & Conveniences

The pool and deck are open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. 

The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for resident use. 

Yes, the community has controlled access at all entry points for added security. 

Cullman House utilizes a  Luxer Package Room for package handling. 

Cullman House has covered garage parking. 1 parking permit is included per apartment, along with dedicated visitor parking. 

Yes, we have 8 Charge OnSite charging stations available. 

Yes, we have several bus stops and the 36th St light rail station within walking distance. 

Cullman House is located within the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools district. 

Rent, Utilities & Insurance

Rent can be paid online through the resident portal, or by cashier’s check, personal check, or electronic money order. 

Yes, renter’s insurance is required for all residents 

Utilities are not included in the monthly rent. 

Electric service is set up through Duke Energy. Water and sewer are billed directly to residents through the community. WiFi service is provided by Google Fiber. Please see the leasing office for additional details!

High-speed internet will be installed by Google Fiber. 

Pet Policies

Yes, our community is pet friendly. 

There is a $350 one-time pet fee and $25 monthly pet rent, with a maximum of two pets per apartment home. 

There are no weight restrictions but we do have breed restrictions. Please see leasing office for more details. 

Maintenance & Service Requests

Yes, we have on-site maintenance staff available to assist residents. 

Residents can submit a service request through the resident portal, by phone, or by contacting the leasing office. Emergency maintenance is available 24 hours a day. 

Maintenance requests are addressed in the order they are received, with emergency requests prioritized. 

You can either request an appointment so you can be home or grant our team Permission to Enter (PTE) if you're not home. 

You can call our office line and use the Maintenance Emergency options to be routed to our on-call maintenance team members. 

Move-In / Move-Out

We have a full make-ready process to make sure your home is in tip-top shape before you move in.
